CONTACT CODES
This option allows the
user to define Codes and Code
Categories to group contacts. Codes
are helpful in defining profiles about your customers and prospects.
Each contact Code
belongs to a Code Category.
An example of a Code category is product interest.
Codes that may be included in that category include stocks or
bonds. Codes can also be used for grouping companies or contacts by
SIC code or NAIC codes that you may use to categorize companies.
On this screen you will
notice two list boxes, the Code
Category list on the left
and the Codes on the right.
When you select a Code Category, the codes in that category appear on the list on the
right.
Use the New button under the category list to
add a category and the edit and delete buttons to edit and delete a
category.
The system will warn you if you are deleting
a category that is used.
If you edit a category, all the Codes in that category will also be edited to the new category.

and the Edit and Delete buttons to edit and delete a Code.
The system will warn you if you are deleting
a Code that is used in a
contact record.
If you edit a Code,
all contacts with that cod Code
e will also be edited to the new Code. |
