The AGENCYWARE contact
screen has five User Defined
pages. These pages are
embedded in the contact screen. This
allows you the ability to have much more information available at a
click of a button than traditional contact management systems.
When viewing the contact screen, these pages are by default
named Page 1 through Page 5. You
have the flexibility to label these pages based on your specific
business needs. You can have up to 17 user defined fields on each page.
That gives you a total of 85 user defined fields in addition to
the standard fixed fields. Contact demographic information is found on the Primary Page.
The Primary Page is not user definable.
SELECT FROM THE MENU
BAR CONTACTS THEN SETUP THEN SETUP CONTACT
PAGES
You will notice options to setup all five
contact pages. Select the
page you want to setup or define.
In each setup screen you will be able to name
the page, indicate whether or not you want the page to be visible,
name each user defined field available and actually distinguish which
fields you want to be visible. It
is recommended to leave some user defined fields not visible if it
helps with the over all look of the screens as well as the data entry
flow.
Make sure to save your changes.
When you do save your changes you will notice a momentary
message that indicates that the contact field list is resetting.
This action insures that all the changes will be available to
all the users attached to the database you are using.
SELECT FROM THE MENU BAR CONTACTS THEN SETUP
THEN SETUP CONTACT USER DEFINED FIELDS
You will notice options to setup all 5
contact pages. Select the
page that you want to setup or define.
Under each page, you will be able to define
the values in the 4 pull down lists available on every user defined
page.
Use the new button to add a value and the
edit and delete buttons to edit and delete a value.
The system will warn you if you are deleting
a value that is used in a contact record.
If you edit a value, all contacts with that
value will be edited to the new value.
Make sure to save your changes to update the
system or use the undo button if you are unsure of your changes or you
do not want to save your changes. |
