You will notice that when entering a Zip Code for
a new contact a corresponding city and state will appear for that Zip
Code. This function will
dramatically reduce data entry time as well as improve the quality of
addresses entered in the system.
This Zip Code function is only available if the City and State
fields are empty. This
function therefore will work in the edit mode of a contact if you
delete or back space the contents of the city and state fields first.
If you also have your territories setup, the Zip Code data
entry will also automatically assign Sales Reps and Territory to the
new contacts.
