You can do Mass
Updates and Mass Deletes
to the contact database with the options found on the menu bar under
the Contacts menu.
These two programs work very similar.
DELETE
CONTACTS
You will notice a Selection Criteria screen in this
program, which you can create a query to what is going to be deleted.
Click on the Select Criteria button.
Use the Select Contact Field pull down list to select the field
you want to query. Then click the Select Criteria button, this will
bring up the list of operators to generate a query or you will get a
list of options for that specific field to choose from.
You can choose more than one type of criteria for a specific
field. (An example of an operator is greater
than or equal to.)
Enter the Criteria data and click OK.
When you have all the necessary information listed, click OK at
the bottom of this screen.
You will notice all the selection criteria
you have created in the window. Select
the Delete Now button to delete the contacts, you will be required to
confirm your intentions.
UPDATE
CONTACTS
Select the field you want to Update and then select the Update
Value button to enter the new value.
You will notice a Selection Criteria screen in these
