91) Adding Editing and Deleting Contacts

SELECT FROM THE MENU BAR CONTACTS THEN ADD / MODIFY / DELETE CONTACTS.

You can also access the contact screen by selecting the menu option on the icon bar found to the left of the Agencyware screen.

This is the main data entry and contact management screen.  In the contact screen you can view a contact, add contact information and edit previously entered contacts.  Use the tool bar buttons to Save, Delete or Add new contacts on this screen. 

To view or edit a particular contact you must recall the contact record. 

1) You may recall the contact record by using the Previous, Next, First, and Last arrow buttons located near the top of the contact screen.    These buttons allow you to navigate through your contact records in the order of selected “Sort Search By” located to the left of the navigation arrow buttons.  The order sequence can be by Record (sequence by the order entered or imported in the system), by Organization, First Name or Last Name.

2) You may also recall a contact by using the “Find a Contact by:” Organization, Last Name or First Name option located in upper left hand corner of the contact screen.   To use this option just enter either Organization name, First Name or Last Name or a combination of the three, then proceed to select the Find now button.  This will initiate a find function and if there is an exact or unique match a record will appear in the contact screen.  If there is no exact or unique match the system will generate a select list of possible matches or an empty select screen if there are no matches. You do not have to enter a full name for the search, you can put partial names in the system and the search will find all matches to the partial listing. 

3) You can select the FIND NOW button without putting in any search criteria and the system will list all contact records in the database alphabetically.

4) Also you will find additional Find functions located under the contact menu bar. 

To add new contact just select the new button located as the first option on the tool bar located on the top of the contact screen.

Make sure to save your changes to update the system or use the undo button if you are unsure of your changes or you do not want to save your changes.
