Retail ADVANTAGE Point of Sale Software Online Manual Section 6.12

SELECT FROM THE TOP MENU BAR SETUP, POINT OF SALE OPTIONS THEN SETUP POINT OF SALE

1.               DELETE INVOICE – Select the Delete Invoice button.  In the space provided enter in the number of the Invoice you would like to delete and click Find.  The details of the Invoice will appear in the screen, if you are sure you want to delete this invoice click Delete. 

*YOU CANNOT UNDO A DELETION.

(If you do not have the Invoice number, you may look it up in the Customer’s POS History report or the POS Reconciliation Invoice Detail Report.  Be sure to specify the date or date range.)

2.               DELETE GIFT CERTIFICATE – Select the Delete Gift Certificate button.   Enter the Gift Certificate number in the space provided and click Find.  The Customer’s Name, Purchase Date, Initial Amount and Remaining Amount will be displayed in the screen.  If you are sure you want to delete this Gift Certificate, click the Delete button.

*YOU CANNOT UNDO A DELETION

(If you do not have the Gift Certificate number, you may look it up in the Customer’s record by clicking on the Gift Certificates button or select Reports, then Customer Reports then Gift Certificates Report.  Be sure to specify a date or date range for when the Gift Certificate was sold.)

3.    DELETE PAY OUT-Select the Delete Pay Out button. Enter the date range you need in the space provided, and click Find.  The Paid Out Type,  Employee Name, Time, and Amount will be displayed in the screen.  If you are sure you want to delete this Pay Out, click the Delete button.

        *YOU CANNOT UNDO A DELETION

1.                        POINT OF SALE HISTORY- Select  the Purge Point of Sale History  button. Enter the date that you want in the space provided, then click the Purge button. Be sure you have selected the correct date.   This will delete all POS transactions prior to the date entered.

*THIS ACTION CANNOT BE REVERSED
